1. What documents do I need to send for my application?
You’ll need to provide:

Proof of right to work in the UK

Proof of address (dated within the last 3 months)

2. Can I start working before my DBS comes back?
We also request an Adult First check, which may allow you to start work with a risk assessment in place, depending on your role and circumstances. A full DBS clearance is still required for continued employment.
3. Do you accept digital copies of documents?
Yes, we accept clear scans or high-quality photos of your documents by email. Please ensure they’re not blurry or cut off.
4. What if I don’t have one of the required documents?
Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll advise on acceptable alternatives or help you obtain what’s missing.
5. How long does the recruitment process take?
It depends on how quickly we receive your documents and DBS. On average, it takes one to two weeks if everything is provided promptly.
6. I’m registered on the DBS Update Service – what do I need to do?
Please send us:

A copy of your DBS certificate

Your permission (in writing or email) to check it via the Update Service

Your surname, date of birth, and certificate number
7. Do I need to pay for my DBS check?
We do not charge for the DBS process. However, we strongly recommend that you register with the DBS Update Service to keep your certificate up to date and allow us to recheck it within three years.

8. How do I know if my documents have been received?
We will confirm by email or text once your documents have been checked. If we need anything else, we’ll let you know.
9. Can I drop off documents off in person?
Yes, you can. Please contact us first to arrange a time with our recruitment team.
